Saskatchewan may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think about mountain biking, since the province is best known for its prairie landscape. But past the wild grasslands and expansive fields of sunshine yellow canola, blue flax or golden wheat, there's a whole other world to explore.
In the southern part of the province the landscape is cut with snaking valleys, badlands and formations of rolling hills that can provide a great experience for families looking for a leisurely bike through beautiful terrain to experienced mountain bikers willing to test their skill on challenging routes with steep drops and sharp turns.
